Democratising financial trading

Risk-managed trade signals for retail traders

Around 74% of retail traders lose money. YOLO exists to shrink that number. Follow expert traders — human or AI — and every signal is turned into a defined-risk options trade you actually understand: the most you can lose, in plain English, before you ever confirm.

Why YOLO is different

  • Defined risk, always. No naked, unbounded positions — every setup is a strategy with a known maximum loss shown up front.
  • You stay in control. YOLO never blindly copies a trade. You review the payoff, max loss and rationale, then confirm — twice.
  • Demo by default. New accounts start in paper/demo mode; live trading is explicit opt-in with per-order confirmation and kill switches.

How it works

  1. An expert publishes a plain-English signal — an instrument, a direction and suggested levels.
  2. YOLO's strategy engine turns it into candidate defined-risk options strategies, each with legs, breakevens, maximum loss and maximum profit computed.
  3. You review and confirm. Only then does the order reach your broker.

Trading involves significant risk of loss. YOLO provides trade setups for your review — it is not financial advice and makes no promise of profit.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get started as a follower?

Create an account, complete the registration wizard (it captures your experience level, risk profile and broker details), and you land in a demo account. Then open Discover Experts, follow one or more experts, and their signals appear in your Signal Feed.

Nothing trades automatically: each signal offers you risk-managed strategy choices you can review and confirm — or ignore.

What exactly is a signal?

A signal is an expert’s trade idea in plain language: instrument, direction (long or short), and suggested entry, stop-loss and target prices. YOLO’s strategy engine turns that idea into concrete, defined-risk trade setups suited to your risk profile — it never copies the expert’s trade directly into your account.

How is my risk calculated?

Every generated setup shows its maximum loss in pounds before you confirm — calculated from the strategy legs, not estimated. Defined-risk structures (for example debit spreads or iron condors) mean the maximum loss is capped no matter what the market does. The payoff diagram on each setup shades the loss and profit regions and labels the breakevens.

Which brokers are supported?

IG Markets (spread bets and CFDs, demo account supported) is the primary integration, with Alpaca paper trading for US options strategies. New accounts always start against demo/paper environments.

Is live trading enabled?

Not by default. Live trading requires an explicit live-mode configuration on your account and confirmation of every individual order. Until then, all execution happens in demo or paper accounts so you can evaluate experts and strategies without risking money.

How do I stop auto-trading or pause everything?

Auto-trading is opt-in per expert and revocable in Settings at any time. There are kill switches at the account level (pause all trading), per expert, per broker and per strategy. Closing an open position is always available from the Positions page, subject to market hours.

How are expert track records measured?

Every signal an expert publishes is recorded with its open and close prices, and the resulting performance is computed by the platform — not self-reported. Records include losing trades; there is no way for an expert to delete history.

How do I become an expert?

Register and choose the expert account type. You publish signals from the Compose Signal page; your performance and follower counts are tracked automatically. Expert status is not a professional qualification and carries responsibilities — see the Terms of Use.
